WBA is organized into various working committees to plan and execute the activities and initiatives that its members wish to undertake.

• WBA Working Committees: Three Workgroups open to all WBA membership categories are:
  
  1. Industry-Engagement Work Group (IWG) - Provide leadership for ongoing liaison and collaborating in projects/initiatives with other industry alliances/bodies
  2. Business Workgroup (BWG) - Provide leadership for marketing and business requirements related user experience
  3. Roaming Workgroup (RWG) - Provide leadership for roaming related framework developments and projects/initiatives

• Operator's Interest Group (OIG): Two Operators' Interest Groups namely, WiFi OIG & WiMAX OIG have been created to facilitate participation based on business focus. The operators can be part of any of these two Operators' Interest Groups
  
  1. Wi-Fi Operators' Interest Group - provide thought leadership for the business domain, lead developments of mid/long-term strategic plans to support the needs and interests of WiFi operators and mobilize their participation in initiatives of common interest.
  2. WiMAX Operators' Interest Group - provide thought leadership for the business domain, lead developments of mid/long-term strategic plans to support the needs and interests of WiMAX operators and mobilize their participation in initiatives of common interest.
