Membership of the Wireless Broadband Alliance (WBA) is open to all operators who provide a mobile, fixed or broadband service or a combination of these as well as other industry partners who are interested in driving global adoption of.
WBA aims to help its member operators deliver enhanced user experience and value propositions for wireless broadband services across network technologies and operators.
WBA has proved that an alliance can generate revenue for its members; this has now put us at the heart of the global alliances arena and in a unique situation as the market place moves towards convergence between fixed and mobile networks.
WBA seeks to provide simple, seamless wireless connections in every continent across the globe and to:
- facilitate global wireless roaming
- accelerate wireless broadband adoption through sharing knowledge and experience
- provide an established and recognised brand for quality and standards of service
- modularised Standard Service Specification for the interaction between operators
