Principal subsidiary companies in the True Group include True Visions, Thailand's dominant pay television operator, and True Move, a major mobile phone service provider.
True gives consumers the freedom to live different lifestyles, by providing them with the power to communicate, access knowledge, information and entertainment, as well as carry out online activities whenever, wherever, and how they like under five product and service categories: TrueMove (wireless and cellular), TrueOnline (fixed-line phone, business data services, Internet and broadband), TrueVisions (Pay TV), TrueMoney (financial services via TrueMove mobile phones) and TrueLife (digital online content and other lifestyle services).
Mr. Non represents True Internet as a Director on the WBA Board. He joined the True Group (formerly TelecomASIA Plc) in 1997 in the Business Development Department. Prior to this, he worked at the Ministry of Industry on project management for Energy & Communications Development. Mr. Non has a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Thailand’s top academic institution, Chulalongkorn University. He was awarded a scholarship from the Thai government to pursue his postgraduate studies in the USA where he received a Master’s degree in Communications from the University of Rochester.
With the True Group, Mr. Non has been appointed as a member of the Board of Directors of various subsidiary companies including True Multimedia, True Universal Convergence, KSC Commercial Internet, Future Gamer, AsiaInfonet, and Online Station. Moreover, he heads the Broadband businesses of True Group, covering ADSL hi-speed Internet, Wi-Fi by TrueMove, KSC Hotspots, and WiMAX business development. Mr. Non has been instrumental in deploying Wi-Fi hotspots all over Thailand and in collaborating with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration to rank the nation’s capital as one of the world’s largest Wi-fi cities.
